Q&A

Can I use more than 1 drop per eye
Joyce, Yes, the great thing about preservative-free eyedrops is that there is no daily limit to how many you can use. However, please refer to your eye care professional to ensure you use the quantity of drops as they have recommended.
Hi, Can you tell me where to find the DIN # please?
Hello. Thealoz Duo does not have a DIN (Drug Identification Number). It has a Health Canada Device Identifier: THEALOZ DUO 2762. We hope this helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose Thealoz® Duo drops or Thealoz® Duo Gel?

Choose Thealoz Duo liquid drops for daytime use, including while wearing contact lenses. Duo Gel adds carbomer for a thicker, longer-lasting layer and is particularly suited to bedtime. Both contain 3% trehalose and 0.15% sodium hyaluronate. Duo comes in a multidose bottle; Duo Gel comes in single-use vials. Remove your lenses before Duo Gel and wait at least 30 minutes before putting them back in.

Can I use Thealoz® Duo with my contact lenses in?

Yes. You can use Thealoz Duo liquid drops while wearing any type of contact lens. For Duo Gel, remove your lenses first and wait at least 30 minutes after application before putting them back in.

Why does the first Thealoz® Duo drop take longer to come out?

The ABAK bottle’s filter makes the first drop take longer to come out. Give it time, and don’t use a tool to open the bottle or touch the tip.

Can I combine Thealoz® Duo with another eye product?

Leave at least 10 minutes between Thealoz® Duo and another eye product. Never mix or dilute the solutions. If the other product calls for a longer wait, follow that interval.

How often should I use Thealoz Duo?

The recommended routine is one drop in each eye, 4–6 times a day.
